We were looking for a fish and chips experience in the UK, the defenitly served. Was absolutely amazing. Very crunchy not salty or fatty at all just perfect. Came with tartar sauce that tasted fresh and creamy. All right flavours together in a nice warm small restaurant for any hiphop and rnb lover. Perfect for couples. Not too crowded. Defenitly would visit again if I were to be in the area to discover more on their menu. The cocktails are strong. U really get what u pay for. For drinking only u will leave the restaurant tipsy of u only like cocktails. They know what they r doing. Love it. Chip shop Beer is perfectly sized. Just cold and really matches the fish and chips so well. Both fit well together. Very irie, loved it so much. Great costumer service from the heart, relaxed and down to earth men. Came here to see the legendary Rapper Cormega whose music I have listened to since I was in my teens. Didn't get a chance to eat before the show but I had a few drinks and felt pretty good by the time I left great atmosphere and concept will definitely pass by next time I'm in Brixton. Thank you Chip Shop for a great evening

I really love the atmosphere here. The music is loud and good enough for me to consistently have Shazam open (the buzz of happy people makes it hard for the app to work though!), the staff are great and the food tastes amazing. I had the vegan cod bites which came with a beautiful dill dip and a delicious cocktail named after my favourite tribe song! I also loved the prints everywhere you look, especially N.W.A under the Brixton rail bridge. Can’t wait to come again when there’s live music

First impressions really count, and I was not disappointed. My friends and I were greeted by super friendly staff on coming through the door. As soon as you enter you will notice its a shrine to hip hop legends, with photos and artwork of the best rappers in history. The vibe is very relaxed with great music. Bare brick walls adorned with framed pictures are plentiful. A couple of TV screens for watching sports etc. The food was very tasty and the drinks menu although not extensive had enough variety to keep us all happy. The menu is cool as they are in a vinyl cases, and instead of pulling out an LP you pull out the different menus for drinks, food etc. At first I was wondering why they had laid out the Vinyls on the tables, so it was a fun surprise. The prices are very fair too. I am definitely going to come back here on a Friday night and see what it's like. For me a friendly vibe is the main thing i look for and it's that thing that keeps me coming back, and I shall be back. Big thank you to all the staff working today!
